Why "Digital By Hand"

The name carries a small paradox. Digital, at its root, means of the fingers—from digitus, Latin for digit, for finger. Before computers, digital meant counted by hand. The word travelled very far from its origin. I am trying to bring it back.

Digital transformation fails when it is managed from a distance. It works when practitioners who know the material hold the work. This blog is a record of what that looks like, from inside.
